How important is money?  The week of Easter is the climax in the life of Jesus, and on Monday (today) he returned to Jerusalem and found money changers in the Temple (Mark 11:15-18). 

It’s very true that “money and finances” are important in our lives as they help put food on the table, send our children through school, and pay for medical needs, among many other necessary things.  But do we put money in its proper place of importance?

A simple challenge today is to think about these things… and not to just pray for our families, friends and everyday needs, but also to begin praying about our finances and the role money plays in our life.
