Randy earned his B.S. in business administration (B.S.B.A.) from the University of Southern Mississippi and his M.B.A. from Mississippi College. After 13 years as a personal investor, Randy built Mascagni Wealth Management, Inc., a fully independent financial planning firm. In 1998, Mascagni Wealth Management relocated from Jackson, Mississippi, to the James House in historic Olde Town Clinton which is located in the brick-and-mortar heart of Clinton, Mississippi. In July of 2006, Randy was featured by USA Today’s Money Section in a pre-retirement financial planning review which provided suggestions for a married couple living on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. In addition to providing his company’s Loose Change newsletter, which provides professional insight and perspectives on current financial news, Randy also periodically provides financial planning articles for Metro Christian Living magazine and Mississippi Business Journal. In 2004 he was recognized by Bloomberg as one of the nation’s Top Wealth Managers.
In 2008, Randy was awarded the Clinton Chamber of Commerce’s Distinguished Service Award, and in 2012 the firm received the Olde Town Business of the Year recognition from Main Street Clinton. In addition, Randy has volunteered time to several organizations and institutions and has served on a variety of boards. He enjoys the opportunities he has to help others work to accomplish their personal financial goals and feels “truly blessed” to make his career in helping others. Whether helping a couple manage their retirement portfolio, supporting his team, or providing valuable work experience to a college intern, Randy invests his time and resources in those around him because he finds genuine personal satisfaction being in “the helping business.”
Randy is from Natchez, MS, and currently lives in Clinton, MS. He is married to Vickie Havard of Ocean Springs, MS. Together they have two sons, Collin and Carter, and one granddaughter, Lila. Both Randy and Vickie have been very active at Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton for more than 39 years serving in key leadership positions.
